The 11th edition of the Rio Open presented by Claro gets underway this Saturday at Jockey Club Brasileiro. The Qualifying for the Main Draw starts at 4pm, local time, and four spots are up for grabs at the ATP 500 event.


Three Brazilian players will have the chance to secure a spot at the Main Draw of the 2025 tournament: João Lucas Reis, who won the Procopio Cup, and Mateus Alves and Karue Sell. They will try to join fellow country mates João Fonseca, Thiago Seyboth Wild, Thiago Monteiro, Felipe Meligeni Alves and Gustavo Heide at the main draw of the Rio Open.

Reis will take on Chun-Hsin Tseng, Alves will face Jaime Faria and Sell will play Camilo Ugo this Saturday.

Also looking for a place at the Main Draw is former Rio Open champion Cristian Garin. The chilean takes on Tomas Barrios Vera.

Qualifying for the Doubles Draw also starts this Saturday and one spot is available.
