The intense rain forced the Rio Open presented by Claro to cancel four matches that were scheduled to be play this Wednesday night at Jockey Club Brasileiro.
Only one of them was already being played. Brazilian top player, Thiago Seyboth Wild was leading Spaniard Jaume Munar by 6/2 and 3/2 in a second round match.
The clash between reigning champion Cameron Norrie and Chilean Tomas Barrios Vera and Dusan Lajovic x Laslo Djere was rescheduled to Thursday. The doubles’ match opposing Maximo Gonzales/Andres Molteni and Fernando Romboli/Thiago Seyboth Wild was also moved to Thursday.
